New IS900 Engraving and Cutting Machine

We are this week quite excited by the purchase of our new Gravograph IS900. This machine is quite unique in the rotary CNC engraving market. Its design is engineered by engravers for engravers and with its dedicated software and accessories will allow us to engrave and cut a larger variety of materials.

With the addition of this machine, we can now offer paint filled engraving on stainless metal plates, engraved brass plates or aluminium wall plates. The Integrated CAD/CAM software and laser pointer makes registration of engraved text effortless and the iQ+ Terrain Follower compensates for variations in engraving surfaces, so to achieve a constant engraving depth.

Previously, we offered engraved phenolic labels which we cut using our CO2 laser, but we will now cut and engrave all of our engraved traffolyte labels with our new rotary Gravograph IS900. Previously when cutting the laserable material with M3 tape on the back, a small amount of burnt residue would need to be cleaned off the laser engraved label. Although this method still produced a good result, we believe the rotary engraved finish improves the cut edge of when engraving through traffolyte.
